In operation since 1894, Ogatama Shuzo (est. 1993) insists on an old-fashioned production process and a philosophy of developing new ideas based on a study of the past.
We bring back good, old-fashioned products and adapt them to the present, looking through history to make new discoveries. We want to protect not just the production process, but local regional culture too - Our mission is to build the history of delicious shochu suited to their respective eras.
