Otokoyama Brewery

Otokoyama of local sake brewed in spring water of in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. In 1977, It was the first time in the world to win Monde Selection award for sake. It has been going on for about 50 years. In addition, won many gold medals in domestic and foreign liquor competition and NRIB (National Research Institute of Brewing). Otokoyama's sake is rooted in Hokkaido.

Otokoyama Tokubetsu Junmai

The greatest dry taste junmai-shu in Otokoyama is characterized by subtle sourness and sharpness. This name originated from the Ukiyo-e of "Seichugisinmeimeikagami"(Utagawa Kuniyoshi who drew a drink of Otokoyama drinking by Ako roshi). With its aroma of rice and a hint of fruits. Full-bodied, dry sake with deep taste.  Pairs marvelously with sushi and sashimi, It is known as sake that fits to match Japanese food.

Tasting Notes: Light, smooth and rich type. A quiet grain-like aroma with a hint of fruity nose. Refreshing lightness with vivid acidity. A very dry sake with a sharp, rich and full-bodied taste.
