Brewery
Otokoyama of local sake brewed in spring water of in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. In 1977, It was the first time in the world to win Monde Selection award for sake. It has been going on for 47 years. In addition, won many gold medals in domestic and foreign liquor competition and NRIB (National Research Institute of Brewing). Otokoyama's sake is rooted in Hokkaido.
Junmai Gomenshu
This is a pure rice sake that uses low-temperature fermentation to keep the alcohol content lower than regular sake, increasing its flavor. It comes from the fact that Otokoyama received the name Gomenshu from the Edo Shogunate.
Tasting Notes
It has an easy-to-drink taste with a refreshing acidity, and goes well with strong-flavored dishes such as meat dishes and Chinese dishes.
