Aizu Homare Brewery
Homare Sake Brewery was established in Fukushima prefecture in 1918. The brewery is situated at the foot of Iide Mountain, which is worshipped as a god, and it benefits from the incredibly soft and fine water. Additionally, the Aizu district is renowned for sourcing the finest rice. "Homare" means well-known, honor or renown in Japanese. The founder, Kosaku Karahashi named our brewery with his wish that his brewery would become the honored sake brewery in the Aizu district.
